Luxe Effects
We designed and built the website for Luxe Effects, a Sydney painting studio that leads with colour. The home page lets you tap a Dulux colour and watch it land on the house, and everything else is set up to get people from browsing colours to a fixed price in writing without the usual runaround.

What we built
Plenty of painting websites lead with a price promise and a gallery. Luxe Effects sell on colour, so that’s where we started. The hero is a live preview: tap Monument, Surfmist or Woodland Grey and the house changes in front of you, with a one-line note on each colour.
From there it’s a proper colour story. The colour wall pairs every swatch with the same colour on a finished Sydney job, because a chip under shop lights tells you very little. The before and after slider can be dragged or stepped through with the arrow keys, and the gallery labels each job by its colours.
Behind the colour sit the pages that bring in work. There are six service pages and 20 area pages, each written for how that part of Sydney is built and weathered, from Inner West terraces to salt air on the Northern Beaches. Five guides answer what homeowners actually ask, like what a repaint costs, and the quote form asks which colour you’re leaning towards.
